It stated that the celebration of Eid-El-Fitr, which ushers in a new Islamic month, will take place on Wednesday, April 10.

Nigerian Muslims, however, are expected to hold off until later in the day for the declaration made by Sa’ad Abubakar, the President General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Sultan of Sokoto.
