Former Governor of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu, has a building named after him by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, November 27.

In a statement by Sanwo-Olu’s media aide, Gboyega Akosile, the building named after Tinubu is the newly built Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area.

Sanwo-Olu also named the Agboyi-Ketu building after the late Senator of Lagos East Senatorial District, Adebayo Osinowo.

At the unveiling ceremonies for the two buildings held separately, Sanwo-Olu cautioned against vandalizing government properties by aggrieved young people.

He said the government would prioritize youth development and empowerment initiatives to mitigate the kind of anger that led to the destruction of government assets during the #EndSARS protest.
