Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has been described as a compassionate and visionary leader and his sterling leadership qualities clearly stand him out.

Human Rights Activist and Pro-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Dr Tunji Abayomi in a statement today said Governor Sanwo Olu demonstrated something very very uncommon with the reduction of tax on the taxable properties of the aged or ageing in Lagos State.

For this reason, Abayomi said, Sanwo-Olu deserves a second term in office as he had given the public a glimpse of his humanitarian side.

His words: “Surprised at his good sense, I have personally thanked him. He considered our diminishing capability and ability in our ageing years.

“He saw our weakness. He then directed that our taxes on our residential property throughout Lagos State be reduced to an affordable amount we can bear.

“He helped us, the ageing elders of Lagos State to control our stress and our perplexity. This is Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, humane, thoughtful and very considerate.

“I plead with the people living in Lagos, join us to vote massively to re-elect a compassionate and kind Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” Abayomi said.
