New General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, has told members of staff that he would not victimise anyone, but would also not compromise on sense of duty and responsibility, professional bearing and diligence.
At his first meeting with staff of the federation last Monday, the administrator pledged to carry all members of staff along in the running of Glass House, but cautioned against indolence, laxity and mischief.
He said: “I am one of you, having been here for the past eight years as the man in charge of the Competitions Department.
“We will do the running of the administration together, but there will be a tough stance against anyone who fails to sit up and do his job professionally, or indulges unnecessarily.
“All of us must key into the vision of the new NFF Executive Committee to do things differently to achieve better results on and off the pitch.
“In line with this thinking, I am giving every member of staff, who is not yet compliant, just one month to be computer-literate,” Sanusi said, pledging to ensure that staff members sit for their promotion examination as and when due.
Warning those who are in the habit of insubordination, Sanusi also promised to be fair to all as he called on the staff to have the fear of God first and foremost in all they do.
