An American based lady has accused gospel singer Sammie Okposo of impregnating her and demanding an abortion

Popular gospel musician, Sammie Okposo has apologised to his wife and his fans for getting romantically involved with another lady despite being married during his tour to the United States.
The lady, who said she is based in Texas, identified herself as African Doll and went on to allege that the Nigerian gospel artist got her pregnant and absconded.
She levelled the accusations while speaking on a YouTube channel, Obodo Naija TV, where she said she met Sammie Okposo in Texas when he was on a tour of the US.
She went on to say they got acquainted and he invited her to his hotel where she spent the night and in the process they made love.

African Doll also said the gospel artist invited her to Nigeria on one occasion, while their relationship blossomed. But trouble started after she found out she was pregnant in January and told him.
According to her, Sammie refused to take responsibility and told her to abort the baby.
She said “Sammie okposo got me pregnant and does not want to take responsibility and blocked me on all social media platforms.
“We met at a concert in one church close to my home and we started following each other on Instagram. He asked for my number from Instagram and we started conversing regularly.
“He invited me to his show in Houston Texas in November 2021, he invited me to his hotel and we hung out. I spent the night with him until the next morning.
“We kept speaking even when he invited me to Nigeria, we messed around on several occasions. I am accountable for my part. In December again, he invited me to his show and we messed around.
“I know it’s wrong what I did sleeping with a married man and tried to communicate with him so we can find a way out but he kept telling me I’m trying to disgrace him.”
She, however, said she went public because Sammie left her with no choice after he blocked her from all means of communicating with him.
“After I left the hospital and called him, he told me to do the needful and get rid of the child after I told him I was pregnant.
“He blocked me and called me names when the issue of the baby came up,” she claimed.
Meanwhile, Sammie Okposo, on Tuesday tendered a public apology to his wife, Ozioma, and his fans after he confessed to committing adultery.
He issued the apology on his Instagram account.
He said, “Dear Friends, I need to bring a very unfortunate incident to your attention as I am not proud of it but know that this is the right thing to do.
“On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021), I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife, Ozioma, my family and I.
“As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking His forgiveness, I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people.
“To my wife, Ozioma, I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you.
“Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgement is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day forth.”
