Egyptian striker, Mohamed Salah, has finally agreed a new long-term deal with Merseyside club, Liverpool after the process stalled for a while.
This means the 30-year-old has extended his stay at Anfield until 2025, keeping to his earlier promise to the fans that he will not be leaving the club this summer.
Salah will remain the main striker at the most successful English club, but will now be without his striking partner, Senegalese striker, Sadio Mane, who will be plying his trade with Bayern Munich next season.
He is now expected to partner with newcomer, Darwin Nunez, Colombian striker, Luis Diaz, Portugal international, Diogo Jota, and Brazilian Firmino.

Expressing his delight after renewing his contract, the reigning African footballer of the year promised to continue helping the club to win silverware.
“I feel great and [I am] excited to win trophies with the club. It’s a happy day for everyone,” he said, according to Metro. Ok
“It takes a little bit of time, I think, to renew, but now everything is done so we just need to focus on what’s next
“My message [to the fans] is the players in the team want to give our best next season to try to win all the trophies.”
The Egypt International scored 31 times in 51 appearances for the Reds last season, the same as his previous campaign.
