Mrs Priestba Anthony-Wokocha, the Director of News at Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation (RSBC), who was abducted last week by unknown gunmen has finally regained her freedom.
This was made known by a family member, who told Today FM, a radio station in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State that the news director was released last night by her abductors.
She was kidnapped at gunpoint on her way from work last week at about 8pm, after her vehicle developed a fault.

Some news outlets later reported that the kidnappers initially asked the family of Mrs Anthony-Wokocha, to pay the sum of N150m for her release before reducing the amount to N10m.
However, speaking further on her release, the family source said it is unclear whether a ransom was paid before the Port Harcourt-based journalist was freed.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Police Command is yet to confirm the development to journalists.
