Pundit and Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, has chastised West Ham United after his former side beat them 3-1 in the FA Cup 5th round fixture played at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

The Reds sealed their place in the quarter-finals with a brilliant comeback victory over the Hammers, with an own goal by Nayef Aguerd levelling Said Benrahma’s opener before Alejandro Garnacho and Fred also found the net.

West Ham ought to have finished up the game earlier, but the London club failed to utilise plenty of chances they created.

Man United eventually came from behind to score three goals and Roy Keane, while analysing the game, was furious with West Ham’s second-half display.

He said: “They come, they get a bit giddy, they have opportunities.

“Loads of teams, not just West Ham, the Spurs’ of this world, come to Old Trafford, they have a little bit of possession, one or two chances, they’re all excited.

“They get plaudits, then they end up getting beaten.

“Defensively, West Ham were shocking, absolutely useless in the second half, giving up three goals.”
