Katia Aveiro, sister of Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has described the just concluded FIFA World Cup in oil-rich Qatar as the worst in the history of the tournament.
She, however, noted that the final game between the South American champions, Argentina and the defending champions, France was a scintillating encounter.
Katia also congratulated the new World Cup holders, Argentina but seemingly ignored their star man, Lionel Messi.
Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalties to clinch the most coveted trophy in world football on Sunday.

The South Americans dominated most of the game and expectedly went 2-0 up after Messi converted from the penalty spot and Angel Di Maria doubled Argentina’s advantage.
However, PSG striker, Kylian Mbappe netted a stunning brace and took the match to extra time.
Messi and Mbappe scored again within 30 minutes of the extra time to take the scintillating encounter to penalties.
The game ended 3-3 after 120 minutes and the shootout which took place after the game was comfortably won by Messi and his colleagues.
Katia Aveiro wrote on her Instagram account after Sunday’s final: “The worst World Cup of all time… that thankfully gave us a great final. What a match.
“Congratulations to Argentina.”
