Ronaldo sets semi-final target for Portugal in Euro 2024

Ronaldo has recorded 207 international caps and 130 goals for Portugal and he is expected to again be his country’s talisman at Euro 2024

Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has disclosed the minimum target he expects he and his teammates to achieve ahead of the start of Euro 2024.

According to the Saudi Arabia based striker, the team must at least reach the semi-finals of the competition to be considered successful.

Ronaldo will be participating in his sixth European Championship this year

Despite that, however, the prolific scorer’s desire to win is still as strong as it was back in 2004 when he first played at the tournament.

Upon arrival in Marienfeld, Ronaldo stated his ambitions for the team.

“Semi-finals? I hope we can go further,” he stated.

“We must take it step by step, live in the moment, stay calm, and continue working hard. We know it’s a short competition, but the team is well-prepared.”
