Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 12th, 36th, and 81st minutes to become the player with the highest goal tally in the history of the game

Manchester United leapfrogged Arsenal into the fourth position after three goals from Cristiano Ronaldo earned them a 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspurs at Old Trafford.
The home side got the first goal in the 12th minute after Ronaldo scored a stunning long-range effort to make it 1-0 to United.
The visitors were awarded a penalty by the referee when Alex Telles was judged to have handled the ball inside the penalty box.

Spurs restored parity through England striker Harry Kane who dispatched the spot-kick in the 36th minute.
Manchester United regained the lead in the 38th minute when Cristiano Ronaldo scored his brace after a pass from Jadon Sancho.
The visitors equalised once again when Harry Maguire put the ball past David De Gea into his own net after an attempt to stop a cross.
But Manchester United had the last say in the 81st minute when Ronaldo scored a hat-trick after he headed in a corner kick swung in by Alex Telles.
