Super Eagles coach can finally breath a sign of relief, as 21 out of the 23 players he invited for the clash with Les Fauves of Central African Republic (CAR) have arrived their Eko Hotel camp.
Five more players out of the 7 being awaited on Monday night, have also joined the 16 who reported to camp for the double-header two days ago.
Sparta Rotterdam’s goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye and FC Nantes forward , Moses Simon are the only two players being awaited for World cup qualifier.
The Super Eagles are expected to face CAR, coached by 48-year old Spanish -Swiss coach, Raoul Savoy, on Thursday, October 7th at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos and will fly to Douala, Cameroon, three days later, for a return Leg of the encounter.
The 21 Players In Camp are: Ejuke Chidera, Daniel Akpeyi, Onuachu Paul, Samuel Kalu, Kevin Akpoguma, Jamilu Collins, Innocent Bonke, Chidozie Awaziem, Taiwo Awoniyi, William Ekong, Frank Onyeka, Leon Balogun.
Others are: Joseph Aribo, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi, Francis Uzoho, Kenneth Omeruo, Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, the remaining 2 players are expected today.
Super Eagles will be without three key English Premier League players, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Alex Iwobi for the two encounters due to injuries.
