Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Alexis Mac Allister, Andy Robertson, and Diogo Jota will not be able to make the Reds’ squad that will be facing league leaders, Arsenal on Saturday.

The Gunners will travel to Anfield to take on Klopp’s men in what is regarded as a top-of-the-table clash.

But, they will be playing a Liverpool side without three key players – Jota, Robertson and Mac Allister – who will not be fit in time for the Premier League fixture.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Klopp said that he hopes Robertson will be back next month.

He also said Jota and Mac Allister are getting back to full fitness.

He said: “(Robertson) is doing well. We need to be patient. He can’t do all the physical work yet. It is a short time until he’s back. We hope it is January but we don’t know.

“Gravenberch is back. Macca and Diogo are getting closer but not ready for tomorrow,”

Arsenal will extend their lead at the top  of the Premier League table to 4 points
if they beat Liverpool at home, however, the Reds will leapfrog the league leaders if they emerge victorious in the encounter.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa missed the chance to go top of the league yesterday, when they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by relegation-threatened Sheffield United.
