Rema shares moments his songs were played at Mrsool, Emirates stadiums  

Rema, who took to his official Instagram page to celebrate the feat, further noted that he is promoting Afrobeats and the African music culture

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema has sent the internet buzzing after sharing videos of his songs while being played inside the Mrsool Stadium in Saudi Arabia 

The stadium is the home ground of Al-Nassr, the new club of Cristiano Ronaldo and 18-time Saudi Professional League (SPL) champions.  

An elated Rema took to his Instagram page to celebrate the feat, further noting that he is promoting Afrobeats and the African music culture. 

He wrote:” I hope y’all can see what I’m doing for the culture. That’s all I have to say for now.”

The singer, who is signed to Mavin record label in another post, shared a clip of his song being played inside the Emirates stadium; the home of the current English Premier League leaders, Arsenal. 

“Look at this – Emirates Stadium! Do you see the Doors that has just been unlocked for African music?” Rema added.

This is not the first time Rema’s songs would be played at a global event. During the 2022 world cup in Qatar, Rema’s song “Calm Down” was played in one of the stadiums.  

After the video surfaced on social media, his fans and other netizens trooped to the comment section to hail him. 

An IG user identified as @wizkidgirlfriend wrote: “Wizkid Don open way for una. Enjoy.” 

Another internet user, @oryizzy_so_breezy said: “No so e suppose be no be day Buju and rRugergo de do this their playground fight online.” 

@youkhayy added: “You’re the GOAT bigger than Wizkid in my books.”

Another netizen, @dinojuly_blusa wrote: “This song is worldwide, it goes far more than Rema can imagine.” 

While @omeruo said: “We de see am ohhhh.”
