The Federal Government has said that the £4.2 million stolen from the treasury of Delta State by a former Governor, James Ibori, has been returned to the state.
This disclosure was made by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris when he appeared before the House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee on Assessment and Status of All Recovered Loots Movable and Immovable Assets from 2002 to 2020.
