Popular rapper and actor, Tobechukwu Ejiofor, better known as Illbliss, has reacted to Super Eagles’ recent loss to the Squirrels of Benin Republic, saying the team’s performance reflects the state of the Nigerian government.
The ‘Aye Po Gan’ hitmaker made this known recently via his X page, while commenting on the encounter.
Super Eagles suffered an embarrassing 2-1 defeat in the hands of the Squirrels in a 2026 World Cup qualifying series played at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on Monday evening.

Raphael Onyedika opened the scoring for the three-time African champions, but Gernot Rohr’s men took the lead thanks to goals from Jodel Dossou and Steve Mounie.
The loss means Nigeria have now picked up only three points from their first four games in Group C of the CAF World Cup qualifiers.
Reacting to the loss, Illbliss noted that the team was “lethargic, inconsistent and confused” like the country’s government.
Speaking via his verified social media handle, he tweeted: “The Super Eagles is a reflection of the government.
“Lethargic. Inconsistent. Confused…”
