Rangers International of Enugu that qualified for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup has a big match in Lagos on Wednesday.

The Flying Antelopes who defeated Bantu FC of Lesotho 2-1 in the second leg round of 16 match at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday, also eliminated teams from Ethiopia and Algeria to cruise to the group stage of 2019 continental tournament.

However, with a CAF Confederation Cup group stage ticket in the kitty, Enugu Rangers are back on duty in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and Agege Stadium is next venue where they would battle Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC in a midweek cracker.

Godwin Aguda and Ajani Ibrahim who scored against Bantu in weekend’s continental match are already fired up to take this game to the Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu-led MFM FC boys who are equally training hard for the big showdown in Lagos.

Rangers Forward Bright Silas, who predicted the team’s progress to the money-spinning group stage of the Confederation Cup before the team edged Bantu as well as Emmanuel Olusesi, Solomon Okpako and Chiamaka Madu will be on parade under the tutelage of Coach Gbenga Ogunbote.

In his characteristic manner, MFM FC Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu is not the boastful type but he is not taking the midweek clash with kid gloves. TheNiche.ng.com gathered that the tactician has stepped up his team’s training bearing in mind his wards are facing the giant killers.

Although, Ilechukwu’s MFM FC lost their first game of the 2018/19 NPFL season by 2-0 to Enyimba of Aba, the Olukoya boys are unbowed as they put up a spirited effort to beat highly rated Kwara United of Ilorin 2-0 on Match Day 2 last week.

In terms playing staff, MFM FC still boast of talented and hardworking youngsters such as Akanni Elijah and Segun Alebiosu while their new signing, striker Kabiru Adeniji who scored against Kwara United is sure to play against the Antelopes
