Scottish outfit, Glasgow Rangers have released a statement stating that Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun will be leaving the club, after his contract expires at the end of June.
Balogun who joined the Gers on a free transfer in 2020 was signed from Premier League side, Brighton & Hove Albion, who loaned him to Wigan Athletic in 2019.
The 33-year-old Nigerian international won the league title in his first season at the Ibrox and also featured regularly under former manager, Steven Gerrard.
The defender has been a huge part of the side over the last couple of seasons but despite initial talks about extending his stay, he’s decided to move on.

The Ibrox side had expected Connor Goldson to leave and his decision to renew along with the signing of John Souttar means Balogun had dropped down the pecking order.
The club made his exit known via the official Twitter when they announced the defender and his colleague, Andy Firth will be departing the Scottish outfit in June and thanked them for their services..
Rangers tweeted, “Rangers can today confirm that @LeonBalogun and @andyfirth1996 will depart the club following the expiration of their contracts.
“Everyone at Ibrox wishes Leon & Andy well for the next move in their career,”
The former Mainz 05 player made his last appearance for the Gers in their Scottish Cup final win against Hearts at the Hampden Park last month.
He donned Glasgow Rangers shirt 37 times across all competitions last season and scored two goals during the period.
