Randy Cynthia Morgan arrested by police based on Ezelekhae’s petition

Police in Edo have reportedly arrested singer Cynthia Morgan for “cyberstalking” Ezelekhae Ewuare, the crown prince of Benin many ladies see as one of the most eligible bachelors in town because he combines good looks with royalty, influence, and (family) wealth.
Cynthia, 32, was said to have been arrested on Monday for having allegedly trailed Ezelekhae since 2020 claiming he has been appearing in her dreams since they broke up as lovers.
She has claimed they were once lovers, with photos in her possession from her first date with Ezelekhae in 2018 as proof, but they never had sex.
Her arrest was announced on Instagram by Edo-based blogger @Edopride who shared a video showing her being apprehended and escorted into a car from her house.
@Edopride also shared a copy of the petition dated 4 May 2024 which Ezelekhae’s lawyers wrote to Edo Commissioner of Police Funsho Adegboye titled, “Defamation, cyberstalking and harassment of Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare by Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan”.
“We act for Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare, hereinafter referred to as ‘Our Client,’ and on whose instructions we now write you concerning the above matter in the manner appearing hereunder,” the petition said.
“We are informed by our client that one Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan (also known online as “Iamcmglobal” and “trulymadrina”) has been desperately trying to contact him against his wish.
“The said Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan has gone as far as physically trailing our client to his workplace, and when she saw she was not getting the attention she so desperately seeks, she resorted to publishing lies, slurry, and other defamatory statements against him on her Instagram story sometime in 2020 and has continued such publications till date.
“The same offending material was picked up and republished by different blogs and news outlets all around the country.
“In the said publications, she has called our client a wicked prince who was bewitching and oppressing her in her dreams. We attach herewith pictures of the online posts and the various online blogs that picked it up.”
The petition recounted that rather than discuss the issue with Cynthia online or confront her, Ezelekhae took the most honorable route by instructing the law firm to write a letter warning her to cease and desist from such acts.
“Rather than take heed, she continued to harass and stalk our client online, much to his annoyance and against his wish.
“Our client, despite his high pedigree, is also a Nigerian who is entitled to his constitutionally guaranteed right to privacy like any other citizen. Our client just wants to enjoy his right to privacy and be left alone from whatever crisis of the mind the said Cynthia Morgan may be going through.”
Ezelekhae also disclosed how Cynthia has been contacting him through several telephone lines, which were immediately blocked, in order to stop to her stalking.
Cynthia recently narrated her experience with Ezelekhae, her former lover, who she alleged slapped her, battered her while she slept, and bewitched her, among other forms of attacks, to stop her from marrying another man.
She released another video saying she has never had sex with Ezelekhae and does not know his house.
Ezelekhae equally took to Instagram to state his own side of the story, and threated to sue the girl.
But in response to his threat of legal action, Cynthia stood her ground and expressed regret for being too private and protective of someone she now dislikes.
She demanded a formal interview, claiming to have photos from her first formal date with Ezelekhae in 2018.
