Ramadan: Group supports Muslims with food items worth N1.2m

Engineer Nakore urged the people to utilize the Ramadan period to offer prayers for the peace and economic well-being of the Muslim Ummah.

The Babura Unity Development Forum, (BUDEF) has distributed food items worth One million, two hundred thousand Naira (N1.2m) as Ramadan package to over two hundred and thirty seven less-privileges in Babura town, in Jigawa State.

The Chairman of the Forum, Engineer Abdurrazaq Nakore stated this in an interview with newsmen in Babura.

He commended members of the Forum, among other individuals for their contributions towards the success of the program which has been an annual event of the Forum in the holy month of Ramadan.

Engineer Nakore urged the people to utilize the Ramadan period to offer prayers for the peace and economic well-being of the Muslim Ummah.

The items distributed include: rice, maize, spaghetti, sugar and Maggi cubes.

Shedding more lights, the Group Chairman, Nakore further stated that this was in addition to rendering other assistance to the needy frequently by the association.
