Rabiu Ladodo takes over from Dasuki Galadanchi, assumes office as Imo Police Commissioner

A new Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Ladodo, has assumed office in Imo State.

His posting followed the transfer of the state’s immediate past CP, Dasuki Galadanchi, to Police Cooperative Society, Lagos.

The Police Public Relations officer in the state, Orlando Ikeokwu, who confirmed the development to our correspondent said that Ladodo was transferred to the state from Jigawa state.

The Police spokesperson said, “Imo State Police Command has a new Commissioner of Police. He is CP Rabiu Ladodo. He took over from CP Dasuki Galadanchi, who has been posted to Lagos state as Head, Police Cooperative Society.”

 “Ladodo was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Inspector of Police in 1985. Until his recent posting to Imo State Police Command, he was the Commissioner of Police in Jigawa State.”

“He has assumed duty as the 34th Commissioner of Police, lmo State.”

The immediate past CP told our correspondent that he had been posted out of the state.

Galadanchi said “Yes, I have been posted out of the state. I am the commissioner of police in charge of Police cooperative society, Lagos. To the best of my knowledge, I served Imo state with zeal, transparency and honesty.”
