American rapper, actor, record producer, and record executive, Sean Love Combs better known by his stage name Puff Daddy has denied he mocked ace Nigerian singer and songwriter, Burna Boy after missing out on the 65th edition of the Grammy Awards.
While another Nigerian singer, Tems, won her first Grammy in the 2023 edition of the show in the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category, her more illustrious compatriot, Burna Boy lost out on two nominations during the ceremony.
The ‘Last Last’ crooner lost in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ and the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ categories.
Puff Daddy who was the executive producer of Burna Boy’s 2020 album, “Twice as Tall,” which won him his first and only Grammy, was later reported to have aimed a dig at the Nigerian via a social media post after the show.

Puff Daddy, while disowning the post, claimed it was fake, even though several media platforms had shared it.
