French giant, Paris St Germain (PSG), are keen on adding Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to their squad.

The prolific striker is currently in high demand across Europe. Napoli got him from French club, Lille, for an African record fee of 81.3m euros in 2020

Although the 22-year-old got just 10 goals in 24 league games in his first season, he is, however,  just a goal shy of that tally in all competitions less than two months into the season.

He scored one of the three goals that saw them trash Polish side, Legia Warsaw, during group C Europa encounter on Thursday.

He also scored a goal in the 2-0 defeat of the Central African Republic (CAR) in the African world cup qualifier during the last international break.

He has now caught the attention of the Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain, who are expected to try and get him when the transfer window opens in January

According to Calciomercato, PSG in a bid to show how much they value the Nigerian striker could offer Mauro Icardi in a cash plus swap deal to Napoli for the services of Osimhen.

And PSG believe Osimhen is the perfect replacement for the former Inter Milan star, who is unsettled in France..

Napoli currently values Osimhen at 60m euros according to transfermarkt, but PSG will have to pay more, hence their proposition to do player exchange plus cash.
