Prof. Obi-Ani emerges South East Vice President of Historical Society of Nigeria

 

Professor of History and International Studies at the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka, Paul Obi-Ani, has emerged  the South Eastern Vice President of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN).

 

At a keenly contested HSN election held recently in Kaduna State, Professor Obi-Ani, famous for his erudition and human relationship, was elected unopposed during the national delegates conference.

 

Prof. Obi-Ani will, together with Prof. Okpeh Okpe who was elected president,  take the prestigious HSN to an enviable level, using their national and international contacts.

 

Prof. Obi-Ani, an active participant in national and international scholarship activities has been published in several international journals, and featured in many conferences, local and international.

 

He has held several leadership positions at the University of Nigeria, like the Head of Department of History and International Relations as well as serves as Visiting Professor to several Nigerian universities.
