Ebuka, the show host, decided he was going to use the tenth day of BBnaija Lockdown Reunion show to spotlight the various fights that broke out during their stay in the Big Brother House. He also played video clips were TolaniBaj and Ka3na, Praise and Lucy, Ozor and Prince and Lucy and Tochi clashed and engaged in various shouting matches. Some of those involved watched in amazement as the clips were played, suggesting they never knew they went that far after losing their composure.
Some of the housemates felt the first video clip which highlighted all other fights apart from the one between Ozo and Prince was a direct consequence of the bossy and domineering nature of the self-acclaimed boss lady, Ka3na. She responded saying she was misunderstood and that she wasn’t exactly a difficult person. She further claimed all that happened came by because they were just settling down and that she never got the opportunity to straighten things out with most of her colleagues before she was evicted.
Ozo shared a different perspective to what caused the hullabaloo in the house, in what seem to be in defense of Ka3na, he suggested the fights were the fall out of housemate’s desperation to fill their stomach. This position was further enhanced when he and other housemates agreed that long after Ka3na’s eviction, kitchen matters and food related issues still remained a problem among the housemates.
Attention shifted to the squabble between Prince and Ozo as shown by another video clip. The clip saw Ozo shouting at Prince during a rehearsal for one of the group tasks in the house. Trikytee, who was the first to comment, said it was caused by the rivalry between the two in their quest to win Nengi’s love. The oldest housemate, went further to say Ozo was reacting to the fact that Prince seem to have the upper hand at the time the altercation happened. Most of his colleagues shared this view.
The man accused of taking out his frustration on Prince got a moment of respite, when Nengi who was in the middle of the love triangle offered another explanation to why he was furious. According to her, the outburst occurred because Ozo is a go getter who was determined to lead the team to win the task, she opined he was upset that Prince showed nonchalant attitude towards the project at hand and was only letting out his frustration.
In another damning revelation, Ozo told Ebuka that he was unable to bond with Prince because he had sour loser tendency. He said his reactions to losing arena games left much to be desired. According to Ozo, he withdraws into his shell and does not celebrate with the winner like others do, after a loss. Prince while responding rejected the tag of a sour loser and said his withdrawer syndrome was just his way of dealing with defeat. Although some housemates echoed Ozo’s sentiment, opinion was however divided among them when asked if Prince was truly a sour loser or just being competitive.
In what looked like an attempt to push back, Prince alleged Vee and Neo led a gang up against him in the house. He said the gang was designed to ensure he does not win the competition or any other game for that matter. He accused Vee of telling one of her co-conspirators to hide a ball from him in one of the games. Neo in response said Prince was the one who attempted to cheat during a game. Vee who was picked as the leader of the gang denied the allegation but quickly added it was a game and all is fair in war. Today’s show is expected to kick off by 10pm Nigerian time.
