President Tinubu arrives Lagos from London, inspects Guard Of Honour

President Tinubu is now back in Lagos, Nigeria for the Eid-el-Kabir festival which begins tomorrow, Wednesday.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday returned to Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre from his official trip to France, from where he flew to London on a private visit.

On arrival at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, he inspected the Guard of Honour by a brigade of guards at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

TheNiche had earlier reported that the Nigerian leader will return to the country, particularly Lagos today (Tuesday) after trips to Paris, and London following his first official visit to the European nations.

President Tinubu was received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; the immediate past Minister of Works and Housing, Raji Fashola, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, amongst others.

He was initially scheduled to be back in Abuja last Saturday after the summit but instead, announced that he would be embarking on a private visit to London before returning to the country.

President Tinubu is now back in Lagos, Nigeria for the Eid-el-Kabir festival which begins tomorrow, Wednesday.

His coming to Lagos for the Sallah celebration may have prompted his loyalists and political associates to storm the airport in anticipation of his return.

The President will be returning to Aso Rock Villa, the seat of power after the celebration.
