Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has refuted claims that he will be taking over from Gareth Southgate as the new England manager.
The Football Association is looking for a new man in charge after Southgate resigned from the role a few days ago.
The former England international stepped down as the Three Lions boss after England lost the Euro 2024 final to Spain.
Speaking while announcing the decision, he said, “As a proud Englishman, it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England,”
“It has meant everything to me, and I have given it my all.
“But it’s time for change, and for a new chapter. I’m leaving my role.”

A couple of names have since then been linked with the role including Postecoglou, who only left Celtic for Spurs last summer.
When asked if the rumours that he will be the new England boss is true, Postecoglou said: “I was having a nap this afternoon. I have no idea.
“I’m the Tottenham manager and I’m determined to bring success to this club.
“That’s where my focus is totally.”
