Tottenham Hotspur boss, Ange Postecoglou, has said his team will play to beat league champions, Man City, despite the risk of handing the English Premier League (EPL) title to harsh-rivals, Arsenal.
Spurs could play a significant role in where the EPL trophy ends up this season, as they host the champions on Tuesday.
A win or draw for Postecoglou’s men against Man City and wins for the Gunners in their remaining two league fixtures against Man United and Everton could effectively hand Arsenal their first league title since 2004.
Despite the possibility of helping their North London rivals to win the league, Postecoglou is adamant his team won’t roll over against City.

Talking to reporters ahead of the encounter, he said: “I’m here fighting tooth and nail every single day for everything I can get for this football club because that’s my responsibility.
“I would not give up on any cause even the most lost of causes because then I’d be abstaining from my responsibilities.
