Popular streethop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has lamented his disqualification from the 2022 Headies awards, saying he is bigger than the organisers of the event and the winner of the next rated artiste category, BNXN.

The singer made this known during a live session on his official Instagram page on Monday, September 5, after the conclusion of the 15th edition show.

The Headies award was held on September 4th, 2022, in the United States of America and BNXN won the Next Rated Award.

Reacting to the successful hosting of the event by organisers and losing out of the category he was nominated for to another singer.

Portable said, “I blow everywhere, my face show. Nowhere wey dem no dey hear zazuu. I blow pass who get headies. Who create am? People wey dey the table wey dey share the award, I blow pass them. People wey una give award, I blow pass them this year and I go blow pass them forever,”

The controversial singer further asserted that all the winners and nominees have not “blown”, as long as residents living in the “trenches” cannot relate to their songs.

The Zazu crooner was disqualified from participating in the award ceremony, despite being nominated in the two categories of “Best Street Hop Artiste” and “Rookie of the year”, for misdemeanours.

He was given the boot for issuing threats against fellow nominees, assaulting DJ Chicken and claiming he founded the infamous robbery gang “One million boys”.

In the same viral video, he also mentioned another upcoming artiste, Bella Shmurda, saying he was an amazing artiste, until the industry ruined his career with packaging and “the fake life”, just like they wanted to do to him, until he ran away.
