Afrobeats singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as portable, has bowed to pressure and tendered a public apology to Fuji star, Akorede Babatunde Okunola aka Saheed Osupa after calling him “big for nothing”.

The controversial singer had prior to this, dragged Osupa for taking down his song on streaming platforms for  copyright violation.

It all started when Portable used a line from the Fuji artiste’s song, prompting complaints from Osupa and his distribution team, which led to the track being taken down from Apple Music and Spotify.

Following the development, Portable took to social media and lampooned his colleague.

However, taking to his Instagram page,  after facing backslash online for being disrespectful, Portable blamed his temperament for his actions and expressed regret for his outburst.

Speaking via a video he shared online, he said, “My fans, I’m a hot tempered person, I have said my mind and it has ended. My fans please forgive me. King Saheed Osupa Oba orin, please don’t be offended.

“It’s money that causes a fight. It’s money that destroys siblings’ relationship, and causes a fight between father and son.

“It was music money that caused our fight because it was when I went to collect money for the song that I was told that it has been removed on streaming platforms. Please my daddy, forgive me and adopt me as your child.”
