Portable boasts he’s rich, famous, amid Headies’s disqualification 

Portable responded to his disqualification via a video on Instagram, saying he does not regret his actions, while boasting about his achievements

Nigerian Singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has bragged about his achievements after his disqualification from the Headies Awards.

The controversial singer was reported to have been left out by the organizers of the Headies Awards after he was initially listed for threatening to kill his co-nominees.

Portable in May threatened to kill, or harm fellow nominees in the ‘Rookie of the Year’ and ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ categories of awards should he lose to them when the award ceremony is held.

Reacting to his threat, the organizer of the awards via a statement released on Tuesday, July 26, withdrew Portable from its 15th nominees’ list in an attempt to pass a strong message against reckless and uncouth statements.

It also cited the ongoing criminal investigation against the singer and his misdemeanours on social media platforms, as part of the reasons for his elimination.  

Responding to his disqualification, Portable posted a video on his  Instagram page, saying he does not regret his actions, while boasting about his achievements. 

With his baby mama by his side, he said, “I am a child of light. I have fame, I have money, I have cars, I have wives, I have children. I am rich. People know me everywhere. I don’t regret my actions,”
