A gas explosion at Tejuosho Market in the Yaba area of Lagos State has destroyed many shanties.
The fire incident reportedly started around Tejuosho Canal in the market area at about 12.30 pm on Wednesday. No lives were lost in the incident.
The fire reportedly started from the gas cooker in the community.
TheNiche gathered that police personnel, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Lagos Fire Service, Lagos Neighbourhood Security Watch, and other emergency responders were at the scene to extinguish the inferno.
