Popular Gospel singer, Yemi Adeola, dies in Ondo

A popular Ondo State based Gospel artiste, Yemi Adeola, is dead.

Her death was confirmed on Saturday by a broadcaster, Bisi Ajiboye, popularly known as Sogigun on his Facebook page.

In the post, the journalist described the late singer as a “kind hearted and  beautiful soul”, adding that he spoke with her a week ago.

He wrote, “Yemi Adeola was Kind hearted, beautiful in and out. When we spoke last week you never say goodbye! (sic)

“In my experience over the years, I have never seen something shocking and sad like this in my life.”

The post, which has now gone viral, however, failed to disclose the cause of her death.

Yemi Adeola was an evangelist and minister known for her inspiring and uplifting songs and performances.

Some of her works include, ‘Annual Praise Concert’, ‘My Praise to the Great Healer’ among others.

She hailed from Isarun in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State.
