Ice Prince arrested over assault of police officer 

The police spokesman alleged that Ice Prince abducted a police officer that arrested him and threatened to drown the officer in the Lagoon.

The police in Lagos have arrested ace musician, Panshak Henry Zamani better known as Ice Prince Zamani for allegedly threatening and abducting a police officer. 

 Ice Prince, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and actor. He rose to fame after releasing “Oleku”, one of Nigeria’s most remixed songs of all time. He also sang the hit song Aboki, which earned him more recognition in the music industry. 

A statement by police public relations officer, David Hundeyin, claims Ice Prince resisted arrested at about 3 am after driving a car without a plate number.

The police spokesman alleged that the Oleku crooner later abducted the police officer that arrested him and threatened to drown the officer in the Lagoon. 

The tweet reads: At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
