Police arrest cook accused of killing boss, Ope Bademosi

A cook, identified as Sunday Akfobale, who was accused of killing his boss, an Ondo High Chief, Ope Bademosi, has been apprehended by the Ondo State Police Command.

The suspect, a citizen of the Republic of Benin, was arrested on Friday and brought to the headquarters of the Ondo State Police in Akure, along with two other suspects in connection to the crime.

He was said to have committed the offence at the Lagos home of the deceased after which he allegedly ran away.

The police, thereafter, declared him wanted.

Addressing journalists on the development, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, said the suspect had started divulging useful information which will help to unravel the facts connected to the crime.

Joseph, however, prevented journalists from interviewing the suspect, saying he will be transferred to the Lagos State Police command where the crime was committed for proper prosecution.

Bademosi who was the Chairman of Credit Switch Technology was murdered in the early hours of Wednesday, at his Onikoyi Lane, Parkview Estate.
