British journalist and Arsenal lifelong Arsenal fan, Piers Morgan, has mocked Premier League club Manchester United after they were thrashed by Liverpool in the mid-week fixture.

Liverpool annihilated their arch-rival, Man United at Anfield, thanks to four unreplied goals from Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane, and Mohamed Salah.

Ronaldo who scored two hat-tricks in the wins against Spurs and Norwich City did not feature in the clash because he was excused by the club after the tragic death of one of his twins.

The Portuguese striker has scored 15 Premier League goals and registered three assists for Man United this season.

Without Ronaldo, the Red Devils will be languishing way down in 12th position with just 39 points.

And Pier Morgan has singled out the exploits of Christiano Ronaldo this season, as the reason, Manchester United are in the top four fight instead of the relegation dogfight.

He took to his Twitter handle to express this feeling while slamming The Red Devils’ performance against Liverpool

Morgan wrote: “Manchester United without Ronaldo this season would be facing a relegation battle.

“Absolute abysmal performance tonight.”
