Popular British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has said Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta was culpable in Saturday’s Premier League (PL) draw against London rivals, Fulham.
The fixture which started with the Gunners conceding a goal less than a minute into the match after a poor pass from Bukayo Saka, saw the visitors go into the half-time break with a 1-0 lead.
Arsenal then fought back in the second half, scoring 2 goals through Saka and second-half substitute, Eddie Nketiah in three minutes and taking a 2-1 lead.
However, they could not hold on for a famous win at the Emirates Stadium as a 10-man Fulham made it 2-2 in the 87th minute through Joao Palhinha
Lamenting via his Twitter handle after the match, Arsenal lifelong supporter, Piers Morgan insisted Arteta lost the game because he got his tactics wrong.
He went on to question the Spanish tactician’s decision to alter Arsenal’s formation by playing Kai Havertz and leaving out other key players.

Speaking via his official social media page, he tweeted: “I don’t get Arteta changing our whole system to accommodate Havertz. Just isn’t working. Put Gabriel back in next to Saliba, move White to right back, and stick Partey in the middle where he belongs. And take off Havertz.”
He went on to add: “FT: 2-2. Bad result, poor performance, and it’s mainly Arteta’s fault. Tried to be too clever with his tinkering and we paid the price.”
The 2-2 draw stopped Arsenal’s 100 per cent record so far this season, as the North London club have now won 2 games and drawn 1 out of 3 and are currently sitting in the 3rd position on the PL log table.
