Popular British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has questioned the way Man United and their coach, Erik Ten Hag handled the exit of Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo after the club was trashed 7-0 by Liverpool on Sunday.
Goals from Roberto Firmino, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah ensured the Reds claimed the maximum points on offer and annihilated Erik ten Hag’s side.
After the heavy defeat, Piers Morgan took to his Twitter handle to send a series of tweets, where he took a swipe at Ten Hag and mocked Man United.

The TalkTV host began by sharing a photo of Ten Hag dancing with Antony and Lisandro Martinez after their Carabao Cup final win at Wembley and wrote: “Don’t think we’ll be seeing any dancing tonight.”
Morgan then shared a recent Sportsmail story on Ten Hag’s admission that he isn’t losing any sleep over Ronaldo’s exit and said: “Good luck with your sleep tonight, genius.”
He then posted a picture of Ten Hag and wrote: “Has Ten Hag resigned yet? How can any Manchester United manager survive a performance & result that is catastrophically dreadful?”
Man United’s defeat in the hands of arch-rivals, Liverpool, came after their Carabao Cup triumph last weekend. They are now 14 points adrift of the league leaders, Arsenal.
