Phyna issues apology over allegation against soft drink brand

Reality star Phyna has issued a public apology after erroneously accusing a popular soft drink brand of sending her expired beverages. The incident comes amidst a backdrop of ongoing disputes between Phyna and organizers of the widely-followed BBNaija show, wherein she claims to have been denied full prizes.

In an attempt to validate her claims, Phyna displayed crates of drinks purportedly sent by the soft drink company as part of their agreement. However, she swiftly took to social media to criticize the brand, alleging that the beverages were past their expiration date.

Upon realizing her error, Phyna promptly retracted her statement, acknowledging that the mistake originated from her end and clarifying that the drinks were indeed not expired.

In her statement, she expressed, “For the post earlier it was an honest mistake from our end. since we couldn’t comprehend the taste, we had to look into the expiring date. Apologies!”

The apology serves as a retraction of her previous accusation and emphasizes the importance of verifying information before making public allegations.

The incident underscores the complexities and challenges inherent in navigating public disputes, urging individuals and brands alike to exercise caution and diligence in addressing grievances.
