Phyna said she is not the biological mother of the child and that she took her from her cousin after he lost his wife

Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has debunked innuendos that she had a child out of wedlock before claiming Africa’s biggest TV reality show’s N100 million grand prize.
Phyna, while in the BBNaija house, was alleged to have given birth to a baby girl before the show after photos of her and a baby girl made the rounds on social media.
Reacting to the allegation in a recent interview on the E-splash podcast aired on TVC, the 25-year-old said the rumours were untrue.

The hype-lady went on to clear the air, saying though she has a baby that lives with her, she is not her biological daughter.
According to her, she is her cousin’s daughter and she took her from him after her mother died.
Phyna said: “My baby girl, yea she is fine. I have not seen her, she is with my aunt. It’s not like she is my child o. she’s my elder cousin’s child, his wife died.
“Since then I have been taking care of her. a lot of people think she is my child and yes she is. I am planning on bringing her with me I’m less busy.”
