Pheelz who featured in Usher’s hit song, ‘Ruins’ went on to say the American singer was his role model growing up in Nigeria

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, songwriter and record producer, Philip Kayode Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, has said his recent collaboration with American R&B star, Usher Raymond, simply known as Usher is a “dream come true”.
The ‘If I Broke Na My Business, crooner who featured in ‘Ruins’ off Usher’s latest album, ‘Homecoming’, made this known during a recent interview with Apple Music.
Speaking about his experience working with the ace American artiste during the chat, he noted that collaboration with such a music icon is a testament to the power of dreams and how far Nigerian music has gone.

He went on to say Usher was his role model while growing up in Nigeria, dding that he used to listen to him everyday and that he learnt his trade from him.
Pheelz said: “I would listen to Usher almost every day growing up. I literally dived into his albums and learned from him. And to be able to write, produce, and teach him [Usher] in a way, it shows me how far the [Nigerian] music has gone. It shows me how far dreams can go as well.”
