Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, of the P-square music group, has revealed he was on course to become a professional footballer before fate pushed him into music.
The ace singer, who is also called Mr. P by his fans and followers, made this disclosure via a tweet late Friday night, saying he’s grateful to be a professional and successful musician.
However, Peter Okoye in the now-viral post, said despite his accomplishments in music, he still wished he had ended up as a football player.

The “Beautiful Onyinye” crooner went on to say it would have been interesting to see what life begets if he had chosen to become a footballer instead of a singer.
He tweeted: “Was supposed to be a Soccer Player or a professional footballer. But today I am grateful to be a professional and successful Musician/Artiste.
“When life changes the direction of your future, it might be fun to see where those new horizons take you. But l still wished I was playing football though God bless us all in all we do.”
