Peter Obi ranks well in the estimation of many as the president Nigeria needs to make the economy work, which is his turf

Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, makes the top trends in Nigeria, with at least 12,000 tweets talking about him.

His exploits as Governor of Anambra State, humility, long list of academic accomplishments among other performance, are the talking points dominating Nigeria’s Twitter.

Peter Obi was governor of Anambra State between 2005 and 2013; a period his supporters say was the turning point for the state. They identified Peter Obi as the man who engineered the change and suggested that if he becomes Nigeria’s president in 2023, things would turnaround.
