The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, arrived in Jos, Plateau state capital on Wednesday to the warm embrace of jubilant ‘Obidient’ supporters, reassuring them of his commitment to bequeath a new Nigeria.

Obi has been on thank-you visits to some states to appreciate the people for their massive votes on February 25 and to seek their support for LP candidates in the forthcoming election on March 18, 2023.

He told the tumultuous crowd of supporters who rushed to welcome him not to despair because of INEC’s handling of the election but to remain focused because a new Nigeria is still possible and is coming.

Obi, a former Anambra State governor, thanked the people for their massive support in the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections and urged them to return the same favour to all LP candidates for the governorship, and the state Assembly elections on Saturday.
