Pete Edochie speaks on son’s marriage saga 

Pete argued that most of those counseling his daughter-in-law, May Edochie have unhappy homes

Popular Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has revealed that it was difficult to convince his daughter-in-law, May Edochie, that he wasn’t a party to Yul’s decision to take a second wife. 

He made this known recently during an interview with lawyer and media personality, Chude Jideonwo, while speaking about the marital crisis rocking his son’s marriage. 

The veteran thespian during the chat also said that the majority of those advising May are going about it in the wrong way and are out to break her marriage.

He further stated that these women who are bent on seeing her out of her husband’s house, don’t even have a good home. 

Pete said: “A lot of people have been advising May wrongly. trying to see if they can asunder the link between her and her husband.

“Most of these women advising her don’t have good homes, they don’t. But again, you know things like this happen and it’s so difficult to convince her that you’re not part of it,” 

In April 2022, Yul Edochie in a post on his Instagram page announced his second marriage with actress Judy Austin and added that they have a son together. 

After his disclosure, his first wife, May rejected the idea and has since then instituted divorce proceedings in court against the actor, while also seeking damages from his second wife.
