Nigeria’s First Lady president, Patience Jonathan said yesterday in Sokoto State that the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) will continue to lead the country for the next 60 years.
The first lady who warned women against allowing their wards being used as political thugs, further said, Nigerian women got close to 50 per cent appointment in this present administration.
Represented by the Minister for Women Affairs, Hajiya Zainab Maina at the Giginya Stadium where grains and other household materials where distributed to women from across the 23 local government of the state, the first lady added that, no African country ever had juicy appointments for women like this administration.
While assuring that, the president will do more for Nigerian women if re-elected on March 28th she said, “The president was simply a victim of circumstance as far as insurgency was concerned. Hence, even those in the north east knows that the Boko Haram was in existence before Good luck Jonathan became president”.
