The remains of the late founder of the Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, will be interred on Saturday, September 9.
This is according to the funeral arrangements announced by the Church.
Sharing an e-flier of the funeral arrangement on its Facebook page, the church announced that the funeral events will hold on Friday, September 8, and Saturday, September 9, 2023.
It said a service of songs will hold in Odukoya’s honour on Friday, September 8.
The funeral service will hold on Saturday, September 9.
Both events would take place at the church headquarters located at the Ilupeju area of Lagos State.
Ahead of its Sunday service, the church has announced that only one service will be held at 9:00am, and there will be no onsite or online children church.

There has been an outpouring of grief since his demise.
On Thursday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent his condolences to the family, friends and congregants of the late Odukoya.
The president’s message was conveyed via a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

Tinubu in the statement sent his heartfelt condolences to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and associates of the highly revered religious leader.
He also praised the cleric for his teaching, outreach and good works.
He noted that Pastor Odukoya, while alive, supported the weak and vulnerable while also providing a platform for many to realise their dreams.
Tinubu further highlighted the importance of the active sustenance of the outstanding legacies of the renowned clergyman by all who knew him, trusting that the Almighty God will continue to comfort the family.
The President, in a statement, noted: “the worthy contributions of Pastor Odukoya to the development of the country, supporting the weak and vulnerable while providing a platform for many to realize their dreams through the teaching of the word of faith.”
He also said he shared “in the pain of loss with the family, friends and congregants of the Fountain of Life Church, over the passing of the Senior Pastor, Taiwo Odukoya, 67,” while sending his heartfelt condolences to “the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and associates of the highly revered religious leader, whose teaching, outreach and good work expanded the frontiers of charitable endeavour with particular respect to the education and health sectors.”
