Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey, has suffered an injury ahead of their Premier League derby against their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur on October 1.
Partey missed Ghana’s international friendly tie against Brazil on Friday, September 23, after pulling up with an injury during the warm-up.
The Ghanian international was set to start for the Black Stars in France but was forced to withdraw after picking up a knock just a few minutes before kick-off.

Ghana has not disclosed the nature of Partey’s injury, but it will come as a huge concern for Arsenal, who take on Tottenham at the Emirates immediately after the international break next month.
If the 29-year-old is unable to shake off the injury before the Spurs game, it would serve as a huge injury blow to Arsenal, who has already missed his services in three games this season due to knee injury.
Partey returned to Mikel Arteta’s starting XI on Sunday as Arsenal eased to a 3-0 win over Brentford, and reclaimed the summit of the Premier League, but he might be set for another spell on the sidelines.
