Sheffield Uniteds’ legend and former goalkeeper, Paddy Kenny, has advised Manchester to sign Aston Villas’ midfielder, John McGuinn, during the next transfer window.
The former goalkeeper made the recommendation while speaking with Football Insider.
Paddy Kenny believes McGinn will be a good addition to Manchester United, as he will strengthen Rangnick’s team in the problematic midfield area.
Uniteds’ midfield has been described by soccer pundits and analysts as the weakest link in the club and Kenny feels McGinn is the perfect player to fix the problem.

He urged Rangnick to jettison the idea of singing high-profile names, as they have not worked for the club lately.
The 43-year-old believes the Scotsman would still be a better signing since he has proven his worth in the Premier League and on the international stage.
“I don’t see why McGinn would not do well at Man United. He is a brilliant player, and he has done so well for Aston Villa. He is shown his quality,
“It would be interesting to see if this does happen. I can see him at United now. No disrespect to Villa, but I would like to see McGinn play with better players.
“That would bring more out of him. Some fans might complain that it is not a glamorous signing or something like that. If you look at some of the big player’s Man United have signed, it does not always work out. McGinn is the player’s the Premier League and on the international stage, there is no risk there.” he said.
Paddy Kenny was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and began his career with Bradford Park Avenue before turning professional in the summer of 1998 upon signing for Neil Warnock’s Bury.
He was reunited with Warnock in 2002 after he joined Sheffield United where he spent much of his career and enjoyed notable success; performing in League Cup and FA Cup semi-finals, two play-off finals, and then promotion to the Premier League in 2005–06
