Nigeria is in a state of distress, David Oyedepo Jr. has reiterated in a sermon in which he also urged Christians to take cover in covenant stewardship.
Oyedepo Jr, resident Pastor of Living Faith Church (LFC) worldwide headquarters in Canaan Land in Ogun – and whose father David Oyedepo is the General Overseer of LFC – also urged Christians to reach out to the needy around them to mitigate the economic hardship.
He was preaching on Sunday on the theme, “Covenant Day of Fruitfulness’’.
“If you raised an empty Ghana-must-go bag in a windy environment, it would fly away, but if you have a heavy substance in it, no matter the hash wind, it would resist it. The same applies to an individual without covenant practice in Christ Jesus,’’ he stressed.
He disclosed the church has opened several Kingdom Care outlets to reach out to the needy through its Winners Satellite Fellowship (WSF) across the country to provide succour in the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.
“It is not weakness to ask for help when you need it,’’ he said.
